On November 18, the Working Group on Foreign and Security Policy (ASP) of the CSU hosted its XIII Defense Technology Congress. Our CEO Rainer Keiditsch was on site as an invited participant and the citema group supported the event as an exhibitor alongside companies such as Rheinmetall, MBDA-Germany or Quantum Systems.

ASP national chairman and International Secretary of the CSU, Florian Hahn, MdB, led through the congress and discussed in various lectures and panels with Brigadier General Holger Draber, Dr. Reinhard Brandl, MdB, Simon Volkmann, Director Sales at ESG, Thomas Müller, CEO at Hensoldt, Ralf Ketzel, CEO at KMW, Prof. Dr. Klaus Schilling, Board Member at the Center for Telematics, and Lieutenant General Johann Langenegger, the turn of the times, procurement projects of the German Armed Forces and the special fund decided by the government.

For the 200 invited guests, who were able to attend the congress in person for the first time in two years, this was a very valuable event with interesting presentations and insightful debates that aptly summed up the coming challenges of national and alliance defense.

With over 3,000 members, the ASP is one of the largest working groups in the CSU. As a driving force and mouthpiece, the ASP is dedicated to all issues concerning foreign, security, European and development policy.
