On April 15, 2021, Markus Gehring took over the position of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at citema GmbH. The engineering graduate with many years of experience in technical management will lead the further technological development of citema and expand the internal digital processes.

What excites Markus Gehring most about his new role at citema?

Markus Gehring looks back on more than fifteen years of management experience in various industries, including mechanical engineering, communications technology, automotive and defense technology, and automation technology. After studying electrical engineering at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and successfully starting his career in software development in 1999, he took on project management roles in well-known large corporations. His next career step led him to the Technical Management of a previous company of our owner and CEO Rainer Keiditsch from 2010 to 2020. Subsequently, he worked for several months in the Technical Operations Management of a medium-sized engineering company in Munich.
