The VDE Zukunftsforum is more than just a programme item in the calendar. From 27 to 28 June, it was not only about semiconductor technology as a decisive factor for the competitiveness and innovative strength of our business location, but also about attitude! Between panels and many good discussions, one thing was particularly noticeable at the VDE Zukunftsforum: An investment in semiconductors is an investment in the future.

Our citema team was represented by our Managing Director Rainer Keiditsch, our CTO Markus Gehring and our speaker Lea Hertlein. We are delighted to have been able to support this outstanding event as a long-standing VDE partner and sponsor. 🤝

In his keynote speech, the Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs and patron of the event, Hubert Aiwanger, sent a clear signal about the importance of a sovereign semiconductor strategy in Bavaria and Europe. An impressive commitment to regional strength. Afterwards, he also paid a visit to our stand. Many thanks for the open dialogue!

Our CTO Markus Gehring was also there as a speaker and talked about dealing with foreign powers. Design and manufacturing often seem to be driven by conflicting requirements, but they can still be combined efficiently. Provided the preparatory work is right: Pre-wiring is the key to success.

What remains: An honest dialogue and the good feeling of working together on confident and resilient solutions. Thanks to the VDE Bayern team, especially Tanja Schak, Julian Marberger and Klaus Bayer, and to Munich University of Applied Sciences for an event that brings together attitude and content. 👏
