As an exhibitor at Europe’s leading trade fair for IT security, we held intensive discussions with experts, authorities and technology drivers. One thing became clear: the need for trustworthy, scalable security architecture is growing. Cybersecurity is no longer purely an IT issue, but a strategic foundation.

Under the motto ‘Cooperation and speed for new security innovations’, we discussed new alliances with representatives from industry, research and politics. In discussions with Jens Lehmann, Member of the German Parliament, and Major General Andreas Henne, it became clear that security does not end at borders; it begins with networked, European thinking.

💬 The new NATO era – requirements for Germany and Europe
The CSU’s Foreign and Security Policy Working Group addressed the future issues of modern defence at the 16th Defence Technology Congress. Exciting panel discussions featured Reinhard Brandl, Member of the German Parliament (Parliamentary Secretary of the CSU), Lieutenant General Holger ‘HAWK’ Neumann, Dr Michael Schoellhorn (Airbus Defence and Space), Michael Schreyögg (MTU Aero Engines), Thomas Gottschild (MBDA), Ralf Ketzel (KNDS), Dr Gundbert Scherf (Helsing) and Dr Werner Schnappauf (Bank of America) discussed how software, data, AI and networking are shaping modern battlefields.
